February 2nd was Ramona's birthday, so we wanted to eat at some place special. Our last meal there was quite a while ago, and this visit was all we expected. The meat was tender and juicy and cooked perfectly. The salads were good, and the shrimp cocktail was great. The shrimp were large and firm. The dessert was yummy, and, of course, the wine was exquisite.
Diamond Back's is pricey, but it is quiet, intimate, with lovely music in the background. The waiter put a candle in the dessert, and to our relief, no one stood around the table clapping and singing happy birthday. I think the waiter felt as much relief about that as we did.
My birthday is in June, so stay tuned for something fun then!
