Jim: Two-meat plate (turkey, turkey) mashed potatoes, barbecue beans, deviled egg, cheesecake, iced tea
We had a committee meeting at 6:30, so we decided to eat our dinner there. The barbecue is excellent, and so are all the sides. This really is the best barbecue restaurant in Waco, hands down.

I've been eating Uncle Dan's BBQ for 30 years. It has always been, and always will be the best in Central Texas - hands down. You never have to worry about the quality of the food. It is the most consistent restaurant in the area. And Dan Henderson is a great guy as well!
Interesting... I ate here just before Christmas and was really disappointed. Perhaps I should try again... it just seemed really bland and the portions small? (we got the sampler plate and a sausage plate)
