Ramona: Chicken fried chicken, fried okra, mashed potatoes, iced tea with lime

Jim: Chicken fried chicken, french fries, pickled beets, iced tea with lime

Chicken fried chicken is one of my favorite dishes, but this was not even close to the quality of the dish at Cotton Patch in Waco. The size of the meat was smaller, the oil it was fried in desperately needed changing, and it was my turn to get a hair on my beets.

The waiter was not at all attentive -- we never did get a refill on iced tea -- so this was pretty unsatisfactory. We were hungry and it was a random choice, but we can't win them all.
