Ramona: Egg drop soup, fried rice, honey chicken, sesame chicken, shrimp, crab, iced tea

Jim: Wonton soup, sushi, chicken, beef, shrimp, crab, veggies, egg roll, iced tea

We detected a slight drop in the quality of some of the dishes since our last visit. My egg roll was a bit soggy, and Ramona was not impressed with the coconut shrimp. But on the whole, this is still the best Buffet of Asian food in Waco.

This is definitely the best Chinese buffet in Waco. For a quick, tasty, filling dinner, they cannot be beat. Between the two of us, we have tasted almost everything on the buffet, and it is ALL good. There always seems to be something new, as well. This time it was "cheese crab" -- large chunks of crab meat with a delicate cheese sauce. The lobster rolls were excellent, as was the sushi.

For years we dined at Summer Palace II Chinese Buffet, but that seems to have fallen off lately. Then we discovered Taste of China and really liked it. Unfortunately, it closed last January, so were back at SPII, but only reluctantly. Now, Waco has a new Asian Buffet, and it is great. The selection is wide, the sushi is fresh and tasty, and the dishes, including the soup, all seemed at the right temperature for us.

The decor was also impressive, and the wait staff was pleasant and attentive. This is now our number #1 buffet in Waco.
